A Spoonful of Wind, Writing, and Wendy's

Today, today was great in the weirdest kinds of way. I finally turned in my 4 tâches that were due last week and my professor didn't have a problem with it. I finished my rough draft of my other French paper and took it to the writing lab. BTW I've missed two lab appointments in the last week and typically after two they don't let you go anymore. :O My mind has just been all over the place that I just forgot, but I sent them an email about it and they erased one of my misses and so as long as I don't miss another one, I'm set for the rest of the semester.

I had a test to take for my French 322 class and I think it went well although I know I missed some of the style questions. Before I went to take the test, I checked out a French-English dictionary from the library, except I forgot to actually check it out before walking through the security check. Wow. My brain was just channeled into getting to the testing center, but guess what? I had to be written up by the officer as attempting to steal a book, in case I exhibit more risky behavior. Oh! And I almost forgot! You know Jack Antonoff? The adorably hipster guy to the right of me in this picture? Yeah, I found his Mormon equivalent sans glasses in the library today. He was wearing black skinny jeans, his grey sweater inside out, and vintage mens boots. Hipster librarians are hot. I kind of wanted to ask him out right then, but he was working, and I had a test to take. Maybe later.

So then I went to Wendy's for dinner. Because I was hungry. And my supervisor at work, Daniel Lyon was there and he bought me dinner, just because! He does this kind of thing often which is pretty awesome, but I think I'm going to make him a cupcake.

The test went pretty well, but when I left the Testing Center it was snowing! And crazy windy! Closest thing to a blizzard I've ever been in. The good thing is I think it's stopped now.

You're probably wondering about the song. Besides being one of my mother's favorite songs, the orchestral version of it was playing when I finished my test. And I decided once more today that Heavenly Father cares a lot about me and what happens in my life. He's watching over me and the events that take place in my life every day are evidence of that. I am so blessed to have great people in my life too. All smiles today, guys and gals. :)
