A Spoonful of Hostile Take-Over

I feel like Divine Comedy took over my life last week. Oh, wait, it did. I don't usually complain about show weeks, because it's the most rewarding time of working with Divine Comedy, but this week I just became so strikingly aware of how there is lack of communication. Also, I'm a bit anxious for next season.

We are losing 7 members of DC this semester. Seven! That's almost half of our entire gang. We're going to need either 2 or 3 more girls, and at least 2 more guys plus a new house manager and a new videographer. And then Matt Meese is leaving in December. I thought he wasn't allowed to leave. I know it's months from now but I'm already sad about it. And Mal won't be long after that. I don't know if I'm prepared for the transition, but the good news is we'll still have Elizabeth and George heading us, and they are the best faculty advisors you could ask for.

I've remarked before that I like change. As I'm faced now with big change, with Divine Comedy and other things in my life, I don't know how much I like it. I think I need to channel the enthusiasm of my freshman year to get through this year.

  2. Please get into BYU for this fall. That would be the best thing ever. :)
