I am killing a tree for my French 322 class. A whole tree! or maybe more, who knows? I've printed 16 pages out for it just in the last week and I have to print stuff for it every week of my life. It's a good class to improve my writing, just not the environment. When will we transition to online editing? I know Word '10 has a pretty sweet editing tool and how easy is email these days (especially if you have Gmail)?
Okay, so I'm not an environmentalist, I just dislike having to spend so much to print on campus-7¢ per sheet! If I ever become a professor of anything, I won't require printed essays. Oh, and I might just not have them write essays. I have had to write over 1000 words in French in the last week and it hasn't been fun.
